Hi, I'm Dr. Kat — a pediatric dentist based in the San Fernando Valley with a passion for helping children build a lifetime of healthy, happy smiles. I believe every child deserves a dental experience that feels safe, warm, and even a little fun. From the very first visit, my goal is to make sure both you and your child feel completely at ease. 

My journey in dentistry began at the New York University College of Dentistry, one of the top dental programs in the country, where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. I then went on to complete my Pediatric Dentistry residency at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut — where I received specialized training in caring for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special health care needs. 

After completing my training, I made my way back to sunny Southern California — and I couldn't be happier to call the Valley home. I currently see patients as an associate at two wonderful practices:

• Van Nuys Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics — Van Nuys, CA

Both locations are warm, welcoming, and designed with little ones in mind. I love being part of a community that feels like family.

Pediatric dentistry is about so much more than clean teeth. It's about building trust — with your child, and with you as a parent. I take a gentle, patient-centered approach with every visit, using kid-friendly language and a calm, no-rush environment so nothing ever feels scary or overwhelming.

I especially enjoy working with children who have had difficult dental experiences in the past. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a nervous child walk out of the office with a big smile on their face.

My philosophy is simple: prevent problems early, treat with compassion, and make every child feel like the most important patient in the room.

Outside of the office, I'm a Southern California girl at heart. I love being part of the vibrant, diverse communities of the San Fernando Valley and am committed to giving every family — regardless of background — access to high-quality pediatric dental care.
